Mac Farland Cottage began its life as a cabin on MacFarland Lake. It was lovingly remodeled for year-round residence and sits upon a beautifully landscaped lot, shaded by stately pine, birch and cedar. All new furnishings include a living room suite, a queen sized bed and good quality kitchenware. It has a separate kitchen (10’ x 9’), a carpeted living/dining area (20’ x 12’), a transitional room providing entry to the bedrooms, bathroom and outside yard. The bedroom suite includes a queen sized bed and a futon. The bathroom’s most delightful feature is a soaking tub. Due to its excellent insulation the cottage is quiet; cool in the summer and toasty warm in the winter. There is a large fenced-in area behind the house suitable for children to play, and a propane grill for outside cooking.
This cottage is truly a “home away from home”. The bike path is across the street and you are a 20 minute walk to the downtown business district. There is currently no distraction of TV or Internet, however if you can’t live without the latter, it is readily available in town.

Weekly: $500
Nightly: $125 Monday - Thursday; $150 Friday - Sunday (2 night minimum)
Mid-week Special: $300 3 nights: Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Thursday
October - May
Weekly: $360
Nightly: $90 Monday - Thursday; $115 Friday - Sunday (2 night minimum)
Mid-week Special: $195 3 nights: Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Thursday
Monthly: $650 Available October - April
Weekly and nightly rentals are subject to a 3% local room tax and a 7.5% sales tax. VISA, DISCOVER and MASTERCARD are gladly accepted. A credit card deposit is required to secure the cottage (call 1-800-387-9360 for details). Deposit is refundable, less $25, provided you give a one week notice on cancellation of your reservation.
