One Pattern, 3 Hats ©
One pattern will enable you to make 3 versions of this basic spring/summer watch-cap style hat. Kits for beaded caps include one color - enough to make one cap with beads. All other kits include enough yarn for one - four caps. Fiber content includes various blends of cotton, silk and bamboo yarns. Written from easiest to more challenging, you can either build your skills as you knit, or if you are an experienced knitter you can jump in anywhere. Versions of the cap include: Ribbed band with stripes (width of the stripes is up to you); beaded band (not all kits are available with beads, if you want this type be sure to check that it has beads) and the more challenging braided band. The pattern is written to encourage you to make your own choices about color sequence, but also provides a sequence for those who need that support.

Slipped & Frothy Pillbox Hat
This hat features a simple slipped stitch pattern alternating with a 3 stitch cable. Written for a more experienced knitter, it employs 2 color knitting at the same time as you are shaping the crown. Yarn amount in the kit enables you to make a small scarf in addition to your hat. There is enough to make 2 hats IF you eliminate 3 rows of pattern. This shortens the length of the cap and as most people like to roll the bottom of this hat, that option works well. Knitted with worsted weight yarn and compatible boucle you will need a 16" or 20" size 8 circular needle and size 8 double points.
